ABOUT
Architectural photography is my craft. After more than 30 years, it continues to challenge me to record the spaces where people spend their lives: where they learn; earn their living; vacation; worship; and attend concerts. And on and on.
As architecture and design have evolved, so have the tools of my trade. Digital didn't exist when I was a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, so I spent a good part of my life with my head under a black cloth focusing the upside down image on a 4x5 camera. Now, cameras are smaller, lighter, the images are sharper and more immediate.
But for me, what never changes is that internal challenge to see a space as more than meets the eye. I invite you to contact me to discuss your projects and the best way to record them.
